LaTeX Beamer Material Theme

This project originated from my Bachelor Thesis’ presentation as I could not find a beamer theme that was to my liking. Therefore, with endless hours of procrastination this theme was born.

The theme tries to follow the material design guidelines and add a modern touch to the world of beamer presentations. Inspiration was drawn from the Google slides which provided differnet layout styles, such as the side-by-side slides.

Due to complex elements such as automatic background-color calculation, the beamer theme needs to be compiled with LuaTeX.
